Harris Bus & Coach has announced the appointment of Lorna Miller as Northern Regional Bus & Coach Sales Manager covering Scotland and northern England, as the company continues to strengthen its presence across the UK bus and coach sector.
Miller joins the ambitious Harris Bus & Coach business on 1st June and will focus on bringing the full range of HIGER Azure fully electric city-buses and HIGER V-Series Euro-6 coaches to operators across the north of the UK. She will support both dealer development and also specific operator relationships having previously established a strong reputation with Local Authorities, utility and community transport operators.
Joining the business with more than 25 years of specialist experience in bus and coach sales and vehicle conversions, Miller has built an extensive career within the industry. Her background includes senior roles with several highly regarded companies including Allied Vehicles, Nu-Track, Oughtred & Harrison, Mellor and, most recently, EVM, where she played a key role in delivering impressive sales success year-on-year.
Her extensive relationships across Local Authorities, utility companies and the wider operating community, make her ideally positioned to support Harris Bus & Coach’s determined growth plans in multiple market segments.
The appointment follows a strong start to the year for Harris Bus & Coach, with high profile showings at the CV Show and APSE seminar where the company has generated strong sales leads. The company believes Miller’s extensive market knowledge and well-established existing customer relationships will play an important role in converting those opportunities into long-term growth.
